Learn more about the journal mission and publication process.
The AE-FUNAI Journal of Science Education is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed platform dedicated to advancing global knowledge at the intersection of theory, practice, and pedagogy. Driven by a commitment to academic excellence and impactful research, our mission is to foster innovation, bridge disciplinary gaps, and provide a world-class forum for scholars, educators, and researchers worldwide. While deeply rooted in foundational and applied sciences, the journal embraces the critical interdependence of human society, culture, and learning. To fulfill this holistic vision, we welcome and publish high-quality, original research articles across four core categories: 1. Science: Empirical and theoretical advancements in pure and applied scientific disciplines. 2. Education: Innovations in teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and educational policies, with a distinct emphasis on science education. 3. Social Sciences: Rigorous insights into human behavior, societal structures, and contemporary global developments. 4. Humanities: Critical explorations of human culture, history, language, and philosophical frameworks. The journal provides a trusted academic platform for researchers, scholars and institutions to publish high-quality peer-reviewed research works globally.
To maintain the highest level of scholarly integrity, the AE-FUNAI Journal of Science Education enforces a rigorous, transparent evaluation process. Every submitted manuscript undergoes a sequential three-tier evaluation workflow designed to ensure academic validity, methodological soundness, and maximum impact. 1. Editorial Review (Desk Evaluation) Initial Screening Upon submission, the manuscript undergoes an initial quality check by the Editorial Board. Papers are screened for scope alignment, adherence to the journal's formatting guidelines, academic writing standards, and strict plagiarism thresholds. Manuscripts that do not meet these fundamental criteria are returned to the authors at this stage. 2. Double-Blind Peer Review Rigorous Expert Evaluation Manuscripts that pass the editorial review are anonymized and assigned to a minimum of two independent, external experts in the respective field. This double-blind process ensures that both reviewer and author identities remain hidden, eliminating bias. Reviewers critically assess the study's methodology, data integrity, originality, and overall contribution to the literature. 3. Publication Assessment & Final Decision Editorial Board Verdict Following the receipt of peer-review reports, the Editorial Board conducts a comprehensive publication assessment. The final decision rests on the collective weight of the reviewers' recommendations and the Editor-in-Chief's evaluation. The manuscript is granted one of four outcomes: Accept As-Is, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions (requiring re-review), or Reject. Note to Authors: Once a manuscript is officially accepted during the publication assessment, it moves immediately into copyediting, typesetting, and digital archiving. This guarantees that your work is published cleanly, professionally, and made readily discoverable to the international scientific community.
